That case looks ok.. like you said only a 350 PSU though.
I would buy something without a PSU and then choose my own.

Something like this maybe?

that case is decent the reviews were pretty good. youll definataly want a better psu if you plan overclocking or using a high end graphics card.

That's not a bad looking case. Deep six that wimpy PSU and those funky fan grills though.

This comp will have a gigabyte mobo, athlon 64 3000 proc, 512 megs of ram, dvd drive, cd burner, 160gig IDE HD, floppy, and a 9600 pro.

This will run at standard settings, no OC. Should the 350 PSU on this case work fine for that? Most likely nothing else will ever be added to this system.

Go to the URL below to see a more detailed chart of the PSU:

Thanks!

350 will be plenty for that setup. a 9600 doesn't eat nearly as much juice as the newer cards do.

I've seen that case on special on Newegg's home page quite a few times. You might save a few bucks if you wait for another special.

Not my particular kind of case, I prefer aluminum, but I understand that you have a budget to consider. If you should find another few bucks, get the Lian-Li PC65B instead wink.gif It's my favorite.

if your going to get an aspire case get the x superalien rolleyes.gif its a great case

A friend of mine has this case and he likes it. I'm looking for one and would have gotten one like his if 1) it was aluminum and 2) if he didnt have one lol. I'm getting this one

Its a very good case I got the aspire 1 but it kinda hard to get the cpu temp reader on the case. It look very good case. It is not the best in durbilty. Mine got a dent or two and it is hard to put in the cd drives very hard like push a heavy rock i got one in my case profile if you look @ it. I get it but replace the ps it not that very good.

I have this case and I like it a lot. I agree with what was said here; deep-six those stupid fan grills and that 350W psu. The psu in itself isn't bad; the problem is that it only has 4 molex plugs. If you're going to run a basic system the included psu will be fine. If you have a high-end PC then replace it with something better. Be careful, however, as some psu's partially cover the blowhole on top, which means you can't get the fan installed properly. This happened to a friend of mine with a Vantec psu.

Anyway, the lights on the outside are nice! I took the blue LED fans and mounted them in the front. I then bought some better-quality 80mm fans (Cooler Master blue LED) and mounted them in the window and blowhole. The OEM fans give a nice blue glow from the front of the case which accents the guts nicely. Finally, I took two Sunon 80mm fans and mounted them on the back as exhaust fans. The case is a little noisy, but when DOOM3 is cranked up I don't hear them. biggrin.gif

Everything stays quite cool, and I'm happy with the case. It's a great bang-for-your-buck case! You certainly can't beat the price.

Here are a few pics...

Here's where I did a slight modification to the back. I took my Dremel and cut out the restrictive mesh that comes on the case and re-mounted the fans with standard grills. Made a HUGE difference in airflow.

no for the front ones they will make the mosat diference heat wise
but good job so far, not sure I would have used that psu i have one it has a low 12v rail running like 11.68v but other wise great.
Tempesta
The front ones don't as they have very little air to draw from, therefore they have very little airflow (at least that's the way it is on this case). They are there for looks only, and that's OK with me!

okay didn't see the front panel I understand your situ now
