I want to put an audio input on the front of my case with a volume control knob
anybody know where I could get a digital knob to hook up to serial/parallel/usb or whatever to control the volume of an input on the soundboard mixer

Im right now not even the slightest sure how to do what you want to do actually sorry..

htere is a way to do it if you have a sound blaster card... you take a look at the card you will find what looks like another cd hookup but it is the volume control
all you need is 2 wired running to that with a variable resistor (knob) and you shall eb able to it

hmm I want to do it on the shuttle SN40 mobo sound
(I'm researching this mod far in advance )
