I spray painted the nycundaground project computer interior with a few coats of paint. would the paint block the heat from dispersing as suppose to if i didnt paint anything inside.

I've never painted the inside of a computer, so I can't say for sure, but I would think if you painted it a dark color, it would cause the computer to stay warmer....

Darker colors attract heat lighter colors tend to repel. It will not stop the comp. from heating up it just may retart the process a little.

I dont think it will heat the monitor up... but that is a good question.... when you open your monitor up place some case fans in there and sodder the power leads to a postive power source and have some cooling in your monitor.... bah.gif

Paint is not a thermal barrior it does not hold heat so no it will not hurt to use auto motive finish as a matter of fact if you can afford emron thats the way to go but very very very expensive. put 20 coats on a harley one time hit it with a hammer didn't even spiderweb the paint just put a good dent in the tank.
