Agree Antec makes one/the best PSU available.
There was article a while back I read about killing PSUs. They ran a bunch of PSUs through a death test. The Antec is the only one that they could NOT kill.
The only thing I could say is dont get the PSU and instead get the Antec TruePower. There better then the normal Antec PSU.
Hmmm get better than the best. Weird.

i just read a review on an antec truepower psu by mikhail at mikhailtech and he says that the psu seems to run a bit warm.in no way am i saying that antec power supplies are no good,i'm just wondering about the long term effect on the psu.does anybody have any first hand experience with these power supplies, and do they notice thier psu to be running a bit warm?
thanks guys!

Actually... Chieftec manufactures that case... They make it for all the companies

. Anyways... I'd say get that case with an enermax. That case is heavy, so if you go to lan parties i wouldn't reccommend (it fell on top of me once so i know how bad it is).

i don't go to lan parties,i'll be 42 next week!the prices of the case has dropped by about 20 % in my area compared to the middle of the summer.
maybe i'll get the sx1240 case that comes with the 400 watt psu and see how it goes from there.i won't move this sucker too often, its a beast!
thanks!

Well I own an Antec TruePower and it runs great...I'm about to see fi it runs hot one second...It is runing at room temperature but it is usually cold. It is a great PSU with a lot of features so if you ever upgrade it is a great PSU to get.

they are supposed to be a bulletproof psu.maybe they are designed to run a bit warm .i'm sure that i'm worried for nothing.it was just that one review of many that i have read that mentioned that it ran a bit warm.
thanks!

concerning that 20% price drop i mentionned earlier.i was talking to the manager of the store where i bought my volcano9 about pricing on the antec case.he heard of a scam where they sold the same case with a generic psu with counterfiet antec stickers, aparently someone opened up the psu to find that the fan in there was sleeve bearing, antec uses only ball bearing fans in their power suplies, according to the store manager.watch out guys.if it's too good to be true it usually isn't!
