This is just a guess but try your local machine shop. They might have the tools to do it.

Plasma cutters are going to be messy, there will be alot of slag left over on the metal. Laser is much cleaner, and it's WAY more precise. Plasma is cheap, laser is a bit more expensive but personally i think its worth it. THe plasma will also do some weird stuff on 90degree corners, when the plasma cutter gets to a corner it turns, and as it turns it stays on the same spot for a little while so it heats it up and makes a bigger cut in the corners. It's hard to explain, i'll show you a pic of something i had cut with a plasma cutter to show you if i can. (scurries off to fetch a pic)
Keep looking for the cheapest price at machine shop places, and if they don't have one, ask them if they KNOW of someone that has one or if there's someware that you should look into - they know more than they lead on. If you were in the florida area i know of a few great places. :( ah well, i'll be back with that picture of the cut metal in a bit.

A plasma cutter at the hands of an artist can do woderful things.
BTW a plasma cutter does not leave any slag if you have a verry verry good plasma cutter u can cut lines as thin as a pencil with one.

I sent some metal to a guy to be laser cut, i should have it back tomorrow. I'll post how it came out. he was really easy to work with, and didn't charge an arm and leg.
d3 sent some stuff to him too, but i don't think he's got it back yet either.

a machine shop is not the place to look for someone to have a laser. My dad used to own a sheet metal fabrication shop that is the place you should look cause they don't use lasers to cut blocks of steel and aluminium they use lasers to cut sheet metal.

This whole thread is kinda useless so dont be talking about me trying to get higher posts.
Anyways i might try to simplify my avatar image and get one cut out. Im not sure if i even wana bother with it right now im still ordering parts for my new rig. I might just drill some holes on my window and put an led there without no fan grill.

Screw laser cutting... my window design was done from water blasting... very efficient. Water the thickness of a human hair shoots through a diamond at 40000psi. And the technology sounds cool, so that makes it better.

Now lets see, how much would that cost? I'm sure most of us cannot afford to pay THAT much just for a simple decal design.
But hay! nice technology. I would like to own one of those one day.
