I Love the fan.. I made the Key Turnon thing you guys did a howto for... for my power switch.. and Im replaceing my old power switch with a On and Off switch for that fan.. So when Im trying to sleep I can turn it off TO sleep.. LoL

dangnn, what is that ....THING (!) on top of it hahahaha very very k00l indeeed. but i was wondering abuot some things, doesn't your computer get airborn once you've  turned it on...?? or does it spin around like crazy hehehe. very k00l mod must say, when i'm done with my case, i'll sent in the pics.

Well.. Ive been working on this case for about 3 months.. On a College kids budget lol.. and I am close to being done..
Ive screwed up on the case sooo many times its not even funny.. The most recent was today.. I was cutting my fan hole at the top sposed to be 172mm cut.. well.. Its a lot bigger then Its sposed to be..
Tell me what you all think of the case..
all the pics are on 1 page so the page loads kinda slow.. and Its on geocities... So that dont help..

BTW: for the record.. the case was done using Tin Snips and a Grinder to kinda smooth the sides.. and It is my first mod so be gentile with me..

If i turn the fan on.. upside down on top of a peice of wood.. I have gotten the fan to hover for a few seconds lol..

well.. Im a poor college kid, who couldent afford a dremel..
2nd it was the only thing I had in the house that would cut this dang steel case lol.. I got tons of blisters and cuts from this..

I would suggest to anyone not to try it with tinsnips lol..

thanks, I tryed my best I really did.. if you look upclose though you can see how the cuts are kind of off.. the molding hides it a bit.. but not to well..
the edges were pretty jagged too.. I tryed to sand them down.. but it dident go so well...

Yes that is a real fan.. I am very proud of that fan.. Its louder then heck! its a 172mm fan..

got it at Case ETC for 20 bucks.. pretty cheap.. I have it hooked up to a switch so I can turn it on and off.. and if you get one.. I suggest u do the same.. its veeery annoying.. actually its bareable.. with the rubber washers on there.. it doesnt rattle the case to badly..

but yeah.. I would put it on a switch..

Also, If any of you guys know a good webpage hosting site.. that doesnt moniter ur transfer of your pages.. tell me.. Geocities takes my page down for 24hrs.. after like.. 3 megs have been transferd from my page.. and my pictures are all pretty big sizes..

Oh yeah.. yes.. every cut was done with my tinsnips..
I actually went though 2 pairs..
I had olderones.. but they wore out after a few cuts.. and I bought new ones..

Its all good though!

I have that same problem w/ geocities, where you cant get on the page after uploading a big file. I couldn't tell you if the other sites have that problem or not.

Its times liek this when I wish I had a fast connection.. Iwould just host my own server lol..
