what looks best....if i were you: spend some extra cash, and go with automotive paint. it looks killer.
1) sand case with 320 grit first.
2) apply 'base coat' (primer)
3) allow that to dry
4) sand down with 320 grit
5) apply very thin coat of the color (don't worry about covering the whole thing!)
6) allow that to dry
7) sand down with 320 grit
8) repeat steps 5-7, 5-6 times OR MORE! but with each time, increasing the grit of the sandpaper to 600-800-1000-1200-1500. you can get these fine grit sandpaper at autozone, or just about any automotive store.
9) do not sand the previous coat, it will mess up it's shine (mirror like)
apply some sort of clear-coat - again, really thin coats!
10) repeat step 9 about 4 times
11)*optional, but makes it look alot better! Go and grab some Rubbing Compund by 3M, and just follow the directions on there.
hope that helps

thx man, it helps. but how much time should i wait after painting one coat? how much time does it take to each coat to dry i mean?
and i have ACE store next to my house i will buy from there.
and how can i repeat step 9 4 times? u mean to spray the paint 4 times with out doing sanding between them?
can i do this steps on plastic too?

what i mean by #9, i mean don't sand down the last coat you just painted. just add the coats without sanding.
the first time you do #9...don't sand the last coat of color you just sprayed.
the second thru fourth time you do #9, don't sand the previous coat...which would be the clear coat.
i guess it would work on plastic...you can always experiment. cases aren't that expensive, unless you've got like a LianLi or something. the case i've got cost me $40.

I painted a friends case....sanded, primed and then painted....once it was all finished and before the clear coat I put it in the oven....yess the oven and allowed it to bake in the paint for about 30 minutes...took it out, let it cool...and then added 6 coats of clear coat...man did it look nice, he uses turtle wax on it to keep the shine up B)

Well if you are painting the chassis of your case too, simply follow
this guide from twisted mods. I will be painting my Antec's chassis in the next week or so
