will this be good on a overclocked machine..Nuclear i think uses these i just wanna make sure before i jump in and buy it

Usually price dictates quality ya know.. so this is I guess mid-priced for a 500+ watt. I think it would be a good choiuce but you might want to seek out specific research, try to find if there are any reviews ya know, I don't know of any.

However, I have owned an Aspire PSU before, worked great, and I have also heard good things from other people about them

I have owned the 350W aurora (I believe it's called)with the big blue LED fan on the bottom and I really liked it. As far as a company goes I think they are pretty good, they are on the quality list for sure. What I do think, is that for the same money, though not 500 some odd watts, you can get a better PSU for the same money. I don't know what you need it for, as my water cooled duallie (MP 2800+'s) never needed and more then the 431W enermax with 17 fans going.

But if you have your heart set on the 500+ watt units, get the fortron. I liked mine and can only assume that it was of the same caliber build, which is really good.

Never owned one...but have heard nothing but good about Fortron...

I usually base myself on a lot of things when buying a PS and price is not one of them,
this Ps has a good spec sheet, over load and over voltage protections, that means if you ever short one of your wires you get to keep your rig's devices intact and that's a big +, it has good 12V rails ,+12V@16/28A, has been run for 100K hours at 25ºC and a decent efficiciency Min 65%,Typical 70% (at full load)
+some peeps took the time to praise it, (maybe fake)

I would trust it as much as a brand name with the same specs (maybe more on some)
