Not bad, not bad at all my friend. Are you using onboard video... or just havnt placed in the video card? Also is that cathode as crooked as it looks? I have an antec/cheiftech style case like that too... I put the CCFL under the rail which the PSU sits on, it still illuminates the top section as well though. smile.gif

Good job.
chasm98
Nice job. Try adding some colours to the hose.

gj biggrin.gif. For a while i was using wire loom too, but it pissed me off because it was kinda ugly, so i bought a sleeving kit.
yatstv
it looks good. try using a vantec sleeving kit or equivilent, i think they look a bit better.
here is mine, i went for the messy look

Lol,mission accomplished.Airman,it looks good,I hide my CCFL the same way Vamp does. smile.gif

Nice case yatstv... that "messy" look actually does look pretty sweet when you look at the whole case in the case gallery... one of the cleaner looking xaser III's if you ask me.

nice. but im not a big fan of that tubing. to big and stiff. i would go ahead and take the time to sleeve everything. maybe go with blue or something to match your case. keep up the good work.

it looks good and neat. however i would have to agree that sleeving does look better. it doesn't seem to be as bulky as the loom. just a biased personal opinion though biggrin.gif
airman
yeah, i think i'll eventually venture out to a sleeving kit, but for the meantime i'll stay with the loom.

for those of you who were thinking, i'm using onboard video ATM (intel xtreme2 on the 865G chipset) because i've got my radeon 9800 on it's way to newegg. btw, is it possible for bad motherboard to kill a video card? because i wasn't getting video on my 9800 so i decided to switch to another motherboard, and i still didn't get any video. so i tried 2 PCI cards in my old (asus) board and still no video. sooo, i was confused, because one of the PCI cards was from my AMD Xp rig, and i didn't get video. i took it back to my xp rig, and sure enough, my video cards died. anyone know WHY?

also...i WOULD put my ccfl on the rail, but i've got some LEDs there at the moment. I'll prolly end up going with a 4" ccfl or something.

btw, why do 4" ccfls cost more than a 12" does? i've always wondered that.

btw: deal of the day: http://store.yahoo.com/directron/dualkit.html

Very neat aiRman. Noticed you got the lower back fan blowing in. Or are you cpu ducting? Is the upper exhaust one diverted upward? Are those pretty strong fans?
airman
yeah....both 60cfm. they aren't bad.

what do you mean by 'diverted upward'?

also, yes, i have cpu ducting. decided to put the exhaust in the upper slot because heat rises, you know.

One of those plastic mod accessories that directs the exhaust up so your intake isn't sucking fumes. Anyway was just curious if you were trying something a lil different (if it wasn't for ducting).
airman
oh, i see. no, i don't.
OptikaliLLusion
Nice. Where did you get the looms?
