Ok, I'm sure you've all seen them, the LCD mods with a small LCD screen on the front of the case, which does stuff (usually matrix code). Well, I've decided I want one, but I can't find a tutorial on how to do them. It's not the sort of thing you can google for either!! I'm just posting here incase soneone knows where there's a nice tutorial on this.

it gives you the name of the vfd...
i think most come as a kit that hooks up to the serial or usb port... then you use software to program it to display stuff... some electronics stores or modding stores may have them...
