i can buy strob light kits lol.. like 10 bucks.. if u know wut to do it strobs slow enough to stop a fan o rmake it go back warsds

It doesn't have to be really slow to make the fan blades appear to be going slow/backwards/whatever. As long as you get the timing right. Yet another use for that physics class I took

what about the heat? they produce lots of heat.

you could have the light outside your case, that would take care of the heating issue, otherwise Id mod the thing so that it ducts out to the outside world. The mod would definitly work but I think the light would getting annoying too.

strob can also screw up your eyes

yea, you're going to have to weigh your options:

young and blind but with a really cool looking case/setup or old and with site but a case thats not quite as cool....weigh them carefully...


personally, strobes hurt my eyes so I woudnt do it but hey, whatever floats your boat right?

maybe you could put a switch on the wrong of your case....

well u can also set to its speed.
so if it gets anoying set it to allways on then its just a white lite

Um pictures?????? BTW if you set ot to always stay on itll burn out, itried that back in Grade 8 in electronics class ,we made a stroblight, i burned out like 6 $5 bulbs before i clicked in to what was doing it

a bulb and needed cicruits is like 12 bucks total.

Strobes do look cool in computer cases i had a friend at lanwar ZephyrStar who put on in.. and it was tite!

I have a strobe, but is makes a tikking sound. it would burn out though. i think i'm going to test it and see how it looks. my case is underneath my desk, so it wound mess up my eyes.
