Get a Vantec kit, it will save you time and money... BUT, get some extra heatshrink (of all sizes), there isnt enough included in the kit. Also a UV CCFL is recommended. I got mine 2 days ago, I got it installed and its looking cool B) Cant wait to show it off at the next LAN I go to biggrin.gif

Tip: With the heatshrink, dont use a lighter, use a hairdrier (commonly found in a womans bathroom tongue.gif)

Yellow black is cool and i tend to go with the cut and do way you never know if you're going to f u.. and wind up short. you can always use the left over on a fan or something.
And vamp is right a lighter will make your heat shrink black and soothy(if you use colors) i do it with a plummers blow torch tongue.gif

Use the Vantec kit, its alot easier. I would say blow drier is the best, but make sure you take the PS out of your case tongue.gif

are the heatshrinks the molex connectors?
DarkScorpion
Heatskrinks go at the end of a wiresleeve, right next to the molex connector. Heathsrinks are meant to keep the sleeving from sliding around, like a rubber band.

Once again...use automotive wire loom(plastic tubing that goes on wires under the hood of a car). It comes in colors and diameters, is paintable, and SUPER cheap.($3 @ any auto parts store, maybe even WAL MART). You could paint every other rib a UV green AND orange. That might look pretty cool.
Not to mention you can make your own rounded IDE cables and match them to your PSU cables.

IMO buy it in bulk and cut it yourself. The stuff is so cheap, why pay extra for the "package" that the kits come in. Case-Mod & Voyeurmods both sell it cheap in bulk, you can even get the colored molex connectors there. Besides if you "hose" a piece or two from the kit, what would you do buy another kit so that it matches. Again makes it more expensive.

Personally I don't like the clear HS, it will look cleaner if you can't see through it. What color Molex connectors are you getting? that would help my decission on what color HS to use. I like to match it with the molex's.
