Hello guys:

I am eager to mod my case so it has a window in it. It will be my first mod, so I'm a little reluctant to do it. I have a antec performance II series case, heres the link to it:

I was wondering how hard it would be to cut a hole in the side of this sucker. It's made out of thick 1mm steel, and the only tool I have is a dremel. Should I do it w/ just a dremel, or not? Also, I d o not know which bit # is the reinforced cutting wheel. Thanks for the help.

Alright, rock on man! Did you do a design in it or what? ANd what techniques did you use? My dremel is mildly old also...

What bit(s) did you use?

Thanks bishop: helps a lot.

I've got another question: How could I get the plexiglass mounted around the handle? Can I cut plexiglass w/ a dremel?
bishop245
yeah a dremel will cut plexi but i am not sure which cutter to use just ask your local hardware store or whereever you buy you dremel stuff

Thanks for the help and moral support guys! I just finished the projects not 10 minutes ago and it looks great! Any more suggestions for my case?

I have almost that same case (chieftec) and it took me forever to cut a 120mm blowhole in the top. I don't know if I was using the wrong wheels or what but thank god I had my glasses on cause I kept getting hit in the face when I broke the wheels (about 8 lol)
KaluMinati
you applying way too much pressure on the wheels , that will cause them to break and as for critter... 2 words, wire management
