Anyone know the form factor of an eMachines case? My friend wants to build a computer and has a very small budget. If we can reuse that, then all we need is a CPU and board

my guess is that its an ATX but i dont have an emachines case or know much about them but thats what most are unless its proprietary like dells

it's standard micro atx. but that power suply is goofy, so is the front pannel connector. I say screw it and just get a new case to go with it too.

Thanks for the replies. Cases aren't too much (well, PowMax cases aren't tongue.gif ) so we'll probably just go with one of those. If anyone interested in some eMachines parts, check out my FS thread:

Be careful with powmax, thier cases are cheap and flimsy, so are the power suppplies in them
