I used to get alot of dust in my case, and I'm kind of a neat freak with how my comp looks.. so after using fan filters, I'd have to clean them like once a week cause they would have a solid layer of dust caked onto them... I had a better idea one day:
I suggest this to everybody who can do it cause it works so well for me.
I went to the grocery store and got a 10x10 AC Filter.. you know the kind with the cardboard edges, some with wire gaurds. I measured the front of my case, discarded the cardboard borders of the filter, and trimmed to fit. Then I duct taped the edges of the filter to keep them from fraying or anything. *drum roll* - VOILA! It fits beautifully between the metal chassis, and the plastic front of my Chieftec. ***No adhesive is needed since it is pressed in there semi-tight**
I have been going 3 weeks with this setup, and it takes care of dust better than expensive fan filters. I have yet to have to clean the inside of my case... Also to note:
Cost = $0.99
Time = 5 minutes
I dont have a camera anymore, so no pictures, but to help anybody who skipped all this stuff I just wrote and look at a picture, here ya go:

actually my case temp went down 1 degree from using 2 svc.com filters on my intake fans.
i'm quite certain that they are designed not to inhibit airflow.

They don't suck! It just takes a lot to make them look great. Those that do, however, reap the benifits. A properly organized Acrylic cases is one of the coolest things you can see.

(see
kobalt's case!)
As far as the fan filter, thats a great idea! it goes to show that half of the "computer modding" products are just average household products priced over tenfold. Kudos man!
