I need to solder two wires together from a fan to a molex connector and I'm wondering if, where the wires meet, I can cover the soldered ends with superglue instead of tape. Would a layer of that keep me from being shocked if I touched them?

yes.. but if there is any heat.. it may melt the supreglue?? i would just use electrical tape

No, superglue can take a lot of heat. Some people use it to hold on a southbridge cooler

i used it to hold on a cpu haetsink, on a old 500mhz k6 still holding to this day I think, not sure I sold it to a car repair shop hehe.

The only problem with this is that super glue when dried becomes hard and any movement will crack and brittle it. There's always liquid rubber sold at RS i think, if you dont want to use heat shrink you just paint it on with a wooden match stick or something it's a bit more messy than heat shrink but good for odd places or some similar stuff called "Plasti dip" used for coating tool handles like pliers or files anything you want a rubber grip to it wink.gif

how about some heatshrink tubing. $1 at home depot or any other electrical store or hardware store. sometimes the right way is the best way.
