This is a new PSU, and it has always been real low on the 12+ rail and a little low on the 12-

What voltages is your PSU running at now?

btw: no matter how oc'd or not, or how many things i have plugged in, it never seems to change

not really worried as everything is really stable this way, but just wondered......

It would be nice if I could see the pic...
Here are mine

there you go, tried to increase resolution on pic, it was too big, kept getting it kicked back at me, sorry tongue.gif

Your +12v is a pretty low...
If it gets to 10.8 that is the limit...
Just keep an eye on it. Maybe even use a multimeter, sometimes the boards can be real off....

so is it safe to check it by just putting my multimeter leads in the back of the 12+ and any ground while running, and same with 12-, 5+, 5-, 3.3+...........

looks like there are several 5+ and grounds, which ones to check?

I theory you should only have to check one and the others should all be the same, but check each one anyway, just to make sure you're getting consistant results. 10.8 is the absolute limit, but I don't like anything under 11.8. Anything less to me is risking my system. A decent PSU should be able to stay +/- 4% IMHO for maximum stability.

wow, that was more than a little awkward feeling, being all inside the case while it's running, poking around with metal probes, lol

well, good news, motherboard sensors must not be too accurrate

my Fluke 175 true rms multimeter says:

+12 = 11.96v
-12 = -11.89v
+5 = 5.2v
-5 = -5.0v
+3.3 = 3.4v

that's more like it biggrin.gif

is there no way in MBM5 to add compensation for voltages just as with temps?
