I have been using a 1300w hair dryer, but it doesn't seem to "shrink" it all the way. What would be better to use on it ? blink.gif
InvaderTrax
Fire? What heat sink is it... and why do you need to shrink it?
Ph33rh4x

if you put heat shrink on a wire, that means you just solder something
Why dont you try the bigger hot part of your soldering iron it works like a charm heat shrink dont burn if you just heat it it shrink 3 times it's original size wink.gif

Not always, I have been sleeving my fan wires, etc. It look much cleaner with the HS at each end. How about a heat gun ? (from hardware stores)

Does it have different settings. What setting do you put it on ?
PickledSheep
Mine only has one setting.

just use a BIC lighter from a convience store. Been dealing with heatshrink a lot and that is the easiest and cheapest way of doing it.
Mangar
I'll just do that (the bic lighter). No sense in spending too much $$
