this was my first mod i ever did. it's a intel inbusiness 5 port hub that i put a window in. i did it about 6 months ago. this was before i knew about sanding.

well you could always sand now... anyways cool mod, i wouldnt have thought of doin that to a hub

you should add some lights a gizmos in there, that would be awesome! oh, the hub still works right? lol

On techtv they put a hub in a teddy bear it was hilarious they had the power leds in the eyes it was really cool. hmm That makes me want to cut a window into my surge surpressor.

how bout ina subwoofer?

that might offset the case's (for the subwoofer) acoustics. my Altec Lansing subwoofer box (i know this for a fact) is acoustically shielded to give better output when producing bass.

actually bandpass boxes use plexyglass, and the sound out of em is outrageous!!! id have one but they're expensive, so right now my two 12's are sittin in a nice custom made box... still makes the block shake...

Mouse, keyboard, CDRW, cell phone, PDA...

they dont use plexiglass they use lucite(sp??) I dunno I dont wanna cut a hole in my router/switch. lol



But i am proud of myself lol.

update:
just sanded the edges and put new plastic on it. I couldn't find any colored cd's to put on there though.
