Lets get some more people running some projects on BOINC.

Links to team pages of projects currently being run by OCC members:(Let me know what else needs to be added.)

If you aren't running F@H and want to try out some distributed computing this seems like the easiest way to get involved.

I know i started that thread and I myself have not yet joined the team but im waiting to install a cooler for my new quad core. IF i run WCG my system crashes even if i set it to 20% cpu usage. Probably because my stock cooler is from my 550x2 tongue.gif

BOINC crashing your system is very unusual at that low setting. What temps does it show on your core when BOINC is running? Are you running a 64 bit version? You can get the latest here. Updating to a newer version may help.

I got 1-i7 on WCG and 2-8800gs on gpu grid...

I run bonic because F@H never was able to send me work. The current projects I work on are:

Einstein@Home
Milkyway@Home
SETI@Home
GPUGrid
PrimeGrid

Thats all on one computer. If my friend would be nice and give me like 5 of his old computers(he has over 20) the would be awesome lol

Folding probably was not set up correctly, I can get work with the new SMP2 but they keep freezing up on me at different times. Same machine ran Linux and bigadv fine, I put windows 7 on it and made it my main rig. They say there are some updates coming very soon, I will just run WCG and GPU grid till they get it fixed...

Finally got GPUGRID working, I'm not bothering with any CPU based clients atm as they don't put out much for the power that gets used when it running full blast computing all night.
