I've always wondered what this feature is about. I have no problems with it, but when I try to search for info on google about it all I get is problems. Could someone explain it to me and what features it has. Thanks

But what can it handle under the sleep mode? can you have downloads on? etc

Im not sure tbh.I have mine set to make the monitor sleep after 5 mins of no use(for fear of screen burn),and something like 45mins for the main unit to save power.I dont recall having utorrent or whatever you may use running when it has gone into sleep,but the pc seems to be completely off when it does so it probably sends them to sleep as well.Maybe theres an advanced setting you could enable to keep certain apps running?

I don't think so. Sleeping suspends all programs and you're usually disconnected from networks and stuff like that too...

Like i said though,maybe theres a workaround?

sleep mode turns off the HDDs.. so even if programs still ran in sleep, torrents and other downloads would not work..

Sleep puts the computer to sleep and you can't work and sleep at the same time

My mum does She dreams about her problems whilst shes sleeping(shes a social worker) and then she goes about fixing them the next day.I wish i could do that!

if you use an asus motherboard, you can enable AI nap, which will minimise power consumption, but still allow stuff like download programs to continue.

i don't use it myself and i don't know how it works so YMMV.
