This is my first attempt at a mod. I think it turned out great. Brought my CPU temp down 3 degrees C and my motherboard temp down 4. What do you think?

Great job, how did you cut the hole?
InvaderTrax
Well, after a lot of measuring, and double checking, I used a 3 inch hole saw. That would have given me enough space for the fan blades and a regular wire grill. However, since I went for a wider grill and LED fan, I wanted to expand the whole so no beige showed through. So, I dug out the old grinding wheel for my 3/8 drill. After grinding out, I used a few different grade files to smooth out the rough edges. And, after 2 hours of aching wrist and a minor hand-to-grinder injury, I had a great looking, and fully functional door fan

thats a lot of work for one hole! biggrin.gif

nice job now wheres the window biggrin.gif
InvaderTrax
Yeah. It looks like by adding the fan, I lost the space to put in a window. Oh well, I'd rather be cool than clear biggrin.gif
