I just bought myself a Dremel Multipro 395 which goes from 5,000 to 30,000 RPM I beleive. I got it off ebay for pretty cheap and I think it was just the Dremel alone. Is a flexshaft needed? and also what are all the bits and pieces required to cut a 80mm fan hole and how much do they cost?
Thanks, Spiff

You don't need the flex shaft to cut a fan hole. The accesorries you will need are:

1) cutoff wheels {buy lots of these}
2) grinders {to smooth edges}
3) drill bit {to start hole}

flex shafts are only needed for things like sculpting wood or things you need to go close and under on mainly sculpture they're smaller to hold and gives less fatigue if you work for long stretch of time otherwise not really useful wink.gif
And read this guy's how to it's a great if not the best way to learn things on dremels.

i think a good thing to have when cutting case would be one of those metal shavers they use when cutting sheet metal for cars.it takes about a maybe and 1/8 of an inch of metal out in one long shaveing and its good for turning corners ie: round holes.

Still the best thing for fan holes is the hole saw wink.gif
