What do you all think about these power supplys 470W 4 fans and this one 420W 2 fan

Im gettin a new PS and these look like what I might get, comments please.

It doesn't tell us the rail amps. You need at least 400 watts with a minimum of 25 amps on each voltage rail to be considered a good PSU. Don't buy for price, buy quality such as Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake, and P&C Cooling. wink.gif

Looks identical to the Kingwin Divine Power supply, which is awesome

Well all i can say is that 4 fans is gonna be loud, sheesh.... it has an adjustment but still 4 fans isnt that a little overkill?

Not necessarily, the manufacturers very rarely use high performance fans in their psus. And as far as the overkill is concerned, that's ok too, just something more to brag about. laugh.gif

I think the 4 fan one is a bit to much, I probably will get the 420W one

heres the amps:

SF-420TS / Dual Fan
DC O/P Load +5V +12V +3.3V -5V -12V +5VSB
Max. 42A 16A 28A 0.5A 0.8A 2A

Is this good enough blink.gif ?, v.good 5+, not so good 12+ and good +3.3

That's a great rail amperage on the 5.0 volt but the 12.0 volt is too low. If you are going to overclock and are running a lot of accessories in your case, then it may not be enough. Just so you know, my Enermax has 35 amps on the 3.3 and 5.0 rails, and 32 amps on the 12.0 volt rail. I run 6x80 case fans, two cold cathode lights, 3 Maxtor HDD's, 2 CDRW's, and lots of other bells and whistles. My rails are stable and my overclock results speak for themselves. Remember, quality counts. wink.gif

id go with TT, no probs whatsoever and the price is actually better than the ones you posted for some of their psus.

That's what I thought... Sticker coated and all. I would look at the +12V rail on the 4 fan and decide. I know being fromt he UK its prbably a lot harder to get good quality and low price, but a cheap PSU is going to cause you a lot of hassle in the end. If the 4 fan is even reasonably better I would get it, but you do need more then 16 amps on the 12V rail.

EDIT
I just looked and the 470 is only 18A, which is still kinda sucky. They look like a cheap knockoff company that makes stuff that looks like the divine power and some other Forton PSUs

Then again the Kingwin true power 450 is only 18A. These people maybe a company that builds them OEM for Kingwin and forton... the specs and looks are way too close. BTW they are all taiwanese companies, who knows what they do is legal or not. I think they are clones, but really the same thing internally.

I just checked the TT 470W and it has 18A on the +12V too, so im thinking that it must be good enough, say 4 fans and ccfl and rest in sig, meuh and you soo right about the uk its CRAP when it comes to comp parts dry.gif

btw I can get an enermax of one site but its so much dearer its like 467 USD for a maxtor 120 8mb cache, Enermax 460W (speed control), and corsair TWINX 3200 2 X 256 PTLL including shipping sad.gif
