dominatrix completely ripped off the design of the stinger which i proudly own.

Firstly it wasn't "ripped off" and secondly who cares if it's been rebranded and sold under another name. Welcome to the real world.

imitation is the highest sign of respect or something, as they say
Rogue_Zero
imitation in human actions maybe but marketing no, lol tongue.gif

You would be hard pressed to find a "gaming" mouse that isn't designed around either a Logitech MX /G series or a Razer mouse.

They all look so similar...
IVIYTH0S
both suck anyway RAZER FTW!!! hahaha j/k but yeah I could see what you mean... but if both are good mice then it shouldn't matter right?

Cyber Snipa the company who makes this mouse isn't well known. my friend has a really popular mouse made by logitech and stinger is more comfortable and performs better. The Lachesis isn't that much better then the stinger and the stinger is much more comfortable. Cyber Snipa made an amazing mouse thats overlooked b/c the companys new and people would rather go with name brands, like razer and Logitech

Oh Noes!

Eh, it's obviously not that great or it would have made a bigger impact. The OCZ colour scheme and logos are far better, so that version wins.

This has been going on since forever, it's called business. Get over it.

How many rebranded items out there in the world. Lets take a look at Kenmore (Sears Brand) . Does Sears make them ? Nope they are other models made by differing manufacturers and had a few tweaks to make them just that little bit different. Its no big deal. Both seem to be decent mice. I am still on my Razor Diamondback because Im to lazy to play with anything else that might be better and it fits my ginormous hand just right.

I agree, the Lachesis is an amazing mouse but it is by far one of the most uncomfortable mice I've ever owned. I miss my old Microsoft/Razer Habu, that had such a simple yet comfy shape. I think styling got way out of hand with the Lachesis, while it does look "mean" and "intimidating", it causes you to have to really put pressure on the whole thing to keep the 4000dpi tame

Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

I still roll with my trusty modded MX510. It has yet to let me down after 6 years of great service.

what have you modded?

Removed the weight, upgraded the LED, modified the lens, cranked the polling rate, upgraded the switches (to switches that require less pressure), and added larger teflon pads.

EDIT: I forgot, I made the scroll wheel spin easier as well. I hated the loud clicking and the resistance that it had in stock form.

well it used to be on newegg but probably because noone knows about it and would rather go name brand is the reason it never made an impact. Its not like i care that much i would just like to see the company grow bigger and become better known.

if you look at the webpage for the stinger you can clearly see that this mouse was given dozens of good reviews and a gold by overclockers which the ocz took and probably improved any cons and got a gold as well

Third time... you also fail

Rebranding isn't imitation, because the product is not reproduced to have an identical appearance. It is identical, just the same product with a licensed rebranded sticker or colour-scheme.

Therefore, you fail tongue.gif
