Hey, i wanna get a my window customized... But i think i have plexiglass, can it be sand blasted, or should i go with the stickers?
SHOCKA
My suggestion is to use a badger airbursh kit that actually sprays abrasive it is easy and under $50 and the particles that are shot are cheap

Go to a place that does auto lettering and get them to do your design hopefully you have it on disk and have them print it on their system in a thicker vinyl, have them weed out the design( what you actually want to see, throw that away) with the outline left have them put transfer tape on the plexi. On a test peice from home depot or other hardware store practice some masking tape design ... then do your final peice and when you see whitish color even peel off the vinyl and your design should be pretty well done

Warning is you only have one ONE chance to get this right

It works pretty good i used a sandblaster at 65 psi to do mine. My plexi came with a thick layer of paper and vinyl . I drew then cut out the design with an xacto knife and blasted away.

something ive been thinking about trying.. is theres a spray for acrilics and glass wondows that gives the window a frosted effect ( permenant on acrilic, semi perminant on glass ) but if yyou tape out a simple design and use that spray, im sure it would give a pretty unique effect .. ive seen the spray at home depot

Let us know the name of it ,Its worth a try . that would save me about 30minutes worth of dragging out the air compressor and sand blaster.

I did that on my case it works very well. I bought the paint from a hardware store.
