Anyone ever hear of Channel Well? If so, do they make good power supplies?

Channel Well Technology (or CWT) are a reasonably popular OEM and make PSUs for a number of different brands.

There is a reasonable CWT presence on the Recommended List. PSUs on the list built by CWT are:

Corsair

- VX 550W
- TX 750W
- HX 1000W

Thermaltake

All of them.


Hiper

- Type R II 880W
- Type M 880W


I think that's it (hopefully I haven't missed any).

So yes, they can certainly make make decent PSUs. I believe all of the above are based on either the PSH or PUC platforms.

Look out for the the UL number on PSU labels. CWT's number is E161451, as can be seen (just about) on this Xigmatek.
