The topic title is quite deceiving, so let's cut right to the chase; I have an OCZ 700W GameXStream lying dormant in a CM Stacker 830 thanks to a dead motherboard, but that's neither here or there. The question I have is this: Will I be able to run the aforementioned setup stably. I've been racking my brain and I've remembered that stability is moreso focused on the amperage available on the 12V rail(s) and a comparable Silverstone PSU (same wattage) provides the same amperage on all four 12V rails as the GameXStream which happens to be 18A.

Here's what I was contemplating, using one 6-pin connector per card and use the supplied 6-pin-to-Molex connector as substitution for the other 6-pin slot.

Help is appreciated, as always.

personally dude I think you'd be shy on power.... heck just my rig in the corsair estimator thread it said I would need 650watts for 1 9800gtx....so I think 700w would be light for 2....
