Was looking for a working version of this and here it is, can't remember where I pulled the pic from but the Authors name is right there to see.
I still get a lower Vcore than what I set it to (Vdrop) but its now constant from idle to load. Unlike before where it would drop another 0.04v under load.

Location is near the CPU fan header.

He states he used a circuit pen to create a solid link instead of the pencil but I did it with a pencil as I may want to reverse it someday and it seems to work perfectly.

Are there any adverse effects to this mod????

I came across quite a few threads with that pic in it when looking for the DS3L mod. I was going to try it, or at least attempt to find the bridging point on the DS3L, but that machine became my server too quick so there was no need.

Did you do this on a Rev 1.0 board? Or do you have a Rev 2.0 that it worked on?

Yup mine is the Rev 1.0, But I actually think the mod was meant for the Rev 2.0 but people said it worked with 1.0 and I can confirm it does indeed.

I just noticed that my RAM voltage is spot on now also, before the mod If I set it at +0.3 (2.1v) it would give me a reading in Everest of 2.08 and after the mod it reads 2.10
Strange

Nope it backs to 2.08...lol wishful thinking
