Hello,
@ the moment I'm using the system in my sig. But.... I'm wondering if i've outgrown my PSU.

When I'm OC-ing and running prime or orthos, my rig just shuts off. Temps are good, and my V-core is just 1.37V. Right now I'm @ a fsb 236.

But the strange thing is: It happens @ random FSB's. Sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after 2 hours. But always running prime/orthos.

I did check the psu calculator.... but dunno what to believe of that.
Thanx in advance.

Using a 550w Thermaltake PS I experienced similar issues. An upgrade to the PS in my sig ended my woes though. A weak PS could be your culprit and most likely is. All you can do is buy and try.rolleyes.gif

It might be the PSU. But it could also be instability. Does it do it at stock speeds? Or maybe try bumping the voltage a little?

@ stocks speeds it works. Upped the Vcore for but it didn't help. Just with increasing the FSB and upping the Vcore, running Orthos for a few minutes and the rig shuts down. It's not a restart.

Bought another psu yesterday. A corsair hx620. Keep jou posted.

Thanx.

Well, the new PSU solves the problem. The rig keeps running, and got it stable @ 3084MHz.

But pushing further seems to be getting a problem. PWMIC is getting hot. Temps are getting above 60C.
