This is a thread that I am starting for myself, and others like me, that have them high end, perdy funky looking rigs they wanna show off! EVGA is currently holding a contest that I have entered in, through which you can win a sponsorship from them of $1000 if you get 200 comments on your rig!

If you haven't already registered with them, it's easy and only takes a few minutes. Any comments you guys can leave me would be great as that would be very nice to have to help pay off my bill for this computer.

Kinda have to have an existing rig to qualify; in progress probably wouldn't help much.

In response to Radodrill's comment on my rig: I'd love to do liquid on the GPUs, and I may eventually, but not right now with the 9 series being so close. When those come out, I might just go liquid, just to have the total silence of liquid cooling everything important.

Well DangerDen is sending me a pair of 8800GTX/Ultra blocks (amongst other things) so I'd be a fool not to put the GFX under H2O.
I may go with the XFX 8800; it's currently bundled with a retail copy of Lost Planet as a bonus, at least one copy of which I could sell.

I wish eVGA had the option to load work in progress systems as well as current ones.

Yeah CP, you can. You can sign up with anything if you want to. I'm focusing on my best system to see if I can MAYBE just MAYBE get the full 200 and get 1/5th of my bill for that computer paid off LOL

The way I understand the competition; for every 200 posts made in the Mod Rigs site eVGA will provide a $1K sponsorship, but isn't dependent upon there being 200+ comments about one of the awardee's rigs.

That would so not be cool if I'm trying to get 200 comments for nothing. I'd be minorly angry if I actually got to 200 and got nothing for it, that's for sure.
