The PC P&C 750W Quad is ideal: http://www.pcpower.com/products/viewproduct.php?show=S75QB
Polizei
With that much expensive hardware, I wouldnt trust it to anything other than a PC Power & Cooling or maybe the Enermax Galaxy.

That is "up to +12V@80A", not +12V@80A solid, whereas the PC P&C 1KW-SR is a SOLID +12V@72A,
however both are unneccessary for 8800's, but both are "highly recommended" if going fo R600 CF.

No sense in getting upset about things.
I for one, hope you stick around.
davidhammock200 has spent alot of time and effort on power supplies, he knows his stuff. If he has a recommendation, I'd take his advice.

well you asked i deleted my post. i see that hes good at psus yes. didnt mean to offend nobody. if done so, i apologize.
i read that, peak 88, max 80, so i guess it is rated at max 80 all the time. why shouldnt it be at 80 amps? 80 is not the peak.
good day sir.

80A x 12V = 960W, it would be very difficult to run the rest of the PC off of 40W.

Just get the PC P&C 1KW-SR and be done with it.

An excellent choice for any Nvidia SLI rig!

How then do Corsair manage it with the 620?

50A x 12V = 600W,leaves 20W for rest of the PC.

Just curious

Also, let's just say that 620w is a conservative rating.
