... probably a dust magnet.

I find it extremely easy to work in. It also runs very cool with fans at their lowest settings, so it is quiet, too. Turning up the fans cuts temps a few degrees, but the noise increases by even more degrees.
I also like the way it looks. I have all SATA drives, including the opticals, with green UV cables and two UV cold cathodes. The look is clean and cool.

I actually have this case, and for the last 2 months it HAS been a dust collector lol
but
it's getting reviewed on the content side of the site soon so stay tuned =-/

Whack a Dyson DC multi cyclone beast (the multi root version DC 15+ I think) on top with some (a lot) of filters and see if that creates a hardcore air-cooled system.
Has this been done? - If so is there a web site?
If not then who's tempted?

actually that top 8cm fan would be a perfect addition to the Corsair Nautilus watercooling unit since the bottom of the unit is open to the air, and that means the radiator is open to the air. If you set the 8cm fan to blow up (out/exhaust), and the Nautilus fan to do the same (exhaust through the top), you could probably get some better cooling (not that the Nautilus is bad, it's actually pretty darn good)

ive got an antec nine hundred myself. I got the older version though so my dvi-vga adapter would barly fit into my video card, I actually had to remove the rubber coating. plus the power button broke. but cooling is awsome and silent on low fan settings.

I bought this case a few days ago, I love it, it's qiete enough on the lowest settings and still gives decent cooling, i will admit it collects dust like a hoover but it's no too hard to clean out all in all though i am very happy with my purchase and would certainly reccomend it especially at a good price.

It's a pretty good case, should move a lot of air especially with the aid of the 200mm fan. Aside from that I don't like the way the interior is situated with PSU bay being at the bottom - unlike the P180 which has seperate housing bays. The Nine Hundred looks to me like it'd become more cluttered because everything is practically in one spot.
That's the only thing that prevented me from buying it - other than that for the price I really can't think of anything particularly better.

I’m thinking about building the 24/7 VISTA workstation.
Here’s the spec. of the box;
Re-used from my previous build (…I was not able to find anyone who wanted to buy them…):
- Mainboard: DFI LP UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G
- CPU: AMD Athlon 64 FX-62
- Memory: Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400PRO
- Sound card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro
- Floppy Drive: ALPS ELECTRIC CO., LTD S/N 4C049922
- DVD R/W Drive: Plextor PX-716A
- Hard Dirves: Western Digital Caviar SE 250 GB (2)
- PSU: Silverstone ST65ZF SLI 650W
Planning to purchase:
- CPU Cooler: Vigor Monsoon II for AMD
- Graphic card: 8800 GTS; XFX or EVGA
- OS: MS Windows VISTA Ultimate FULL 32-bit
The thing is, the case.
“…Cons: MAJOR MAJOR design flaw I encountered with this product that pretty much negates all its great features. The very top expansion slot (on the back) leaves NO clearance for plugs. So if your motherboard requires that your video card use the very top expansion slot (as mine did), forget about using this case. You can't plug in your monitor and you can't use your computer…

Is this true?
I will use the first PCI-E slot of the mainboard for the graphic card… If this is not true, ANTEC 900 will be the number-one candidate for my 24/7 workstation…

...O.K., I think that I had the misconception about the ‘workstation’.
Let me rephrase – I have some PC components that I will not benefit by selling them very much, I like to build the PC that allows me to develop & test the apps. related to my work on the latest OS && I like to leave it running for 24/7.
So, could someone who owns the case please provide your input?

I really Like mine. I moved out of a Cooler Master Wave Master. The antec does not have the build quality of an all aluminum case but it does not have the price eather. It runs cool and quiet the only Fan I can hear is the CPU Fan if I turn it down it's silent. The only real down side is in the cable management especally with my strangly laid out DFI Infinity 975 but it does tuck the Heat Pipe under the Big Fan!

I like my 900.I put a matching Antec 120mm Tri-cool fan in the side window and another one on my Thermaltake Big Typhoon.Dust magnet? Maybe so but i clean my cases every month anyway.

I have heard some very good things about this case. It was between this one and the one I ended up getting. I think I made the right choice.

The case looks good very much. One of the things about the case I like is the fan on the top panel.
I really like to know this…

Gigabyte's 3D Aurora is much better! Got to play with one the other day... Not like their usual crap...
But the 900 looks way more intimidating.
