After being quite annoyed with the clutter and lack of decent cooling in my Thermaltake Matrix case I decided to purchase a new Lian Li PC-V1000B+ case...and what a great decision that was.
Beautifully manufactured and everything fits where it should be with absolute ease.
The 3 separate sections in the case..mobo, psu and hd's is a great idea with separate cooling fans for each of them.
After going from a friggin noisy crappy case that didnt cool very well to a nice quiet and cool case is a welcome change.
PWMIC temps have dropped by 10C and CPU and NB have dropped by 5C.
The case itself is black and I changed the stock 120mm fans to a couple of nice blue LED ones just to make it shine.
Highly recommend this case...it has worked for me

I have the PC65 and LOVE it. Lian Li cases are high quality units laid out the right way. They may not have as much "bling" as other cases, but I'm more concerned with quality, layout and features. I seriously doubt I'll build with anything else.

The case cost me $290.00 Australian and was well worth it.
As for PSU room....there is alot of room in there.

Took me along time to get the nerve up to spend the money for a Lian-Li. All I can say is WOW! I've looked at alot of cases in my time and worked on a few. The Lian-Li is top of the line in everyway.

I love my Lian Li case. They have modders and watercooling in mind with their designs.
However, another great case is the Stacker. It seems to be the standard watercooling case due to the size, price, and amount of options.

Excuse the wiring..needs to be tidyed up but I just had to put it together just to see how good it was.
The sides of the case are made of 3-4mm plate aluminium which makes it really strong. Even without the sides on the case is extremeley rigid.

They don't come with side windows from my knowledge but I know you can buy doors with a side window for that case from LIAN LI's web site and probably from any of their distributors. They do make excellent cases. I use to have the same one but it was silver. What is that near the 7900's heatsink........is that a chipset cooler?

thanks - so if i wanted that case - i would have to buy a extra side door to get the window ? that sucks in a way - but at least its a option
what picture are talking about - i dont have a pic of my case here
maybe got me confused with another members case -
would a water cooling kit fit good in that case - i want to try to clean up and fix all the wires better with the next case i get - also - what ligths do you have to use to make everything glow with uv etc. - i cant manage to get the right parts in ligthing to make it glow and bright -
i always read when uv ligthing hits the board it glows etc. and uv ligthing this and that - but i have yet to get the right ligthing that makes everything glow and bright - - i want to do my next case nice looking with lights and neat - means i will be stuck using my old computer in the mean time - but worth it if all goes well -
i got two cheap looking led lights - dosnt really do much to light it up

Yep that is the thermalright chipset cooler...which works brilliantly even with no fan attatched to it
As for a side window...you can order them in Australia from
www.pccasegear.com.au on special for $55...but they dont have a vent in the side for the exhaust fan
