The Hardware :
DFI LANPARTY NF2 ULTRA-B
XP-M BARTON 2500+
THERMALRIGHT SI-97A
PROLINK 5900XT 256MB
G.SKILL HZ EXTREME (2 X 1GB)
2 X 250GB SEAGATE 7200RPM
TASK 450WATT PSU
The Case to Mod :
Grabbed a cheap nasty foxconn case from ETC computers.
Wanted to paint it in one day so went out and bought some quickdry spray paint. Both primer and 'april green'
Masked up the front and top panel because I wanted to keep the black.
Soaked the spray paint cans in warm water beacause I saw some other modder do it on some other site. Proceeded to do 3 coats green, 2 coats of clear coat protection stuff with 15 min interval between each coat.
END result. Part 2 will Include cutting window. Might add I've never done these things before.
The green looks a little better than in the photo's. Blame the camera. The green is darker.

It looks really good man, question though. Does that tape you used leave a sharp line when you peal it up? I ask because the tape i used green like that didn't leave as clean-straight of a line as i wanted it to but i haven't found any of the really small green tape where i live.

The tape worked perfectly. Very sharp edges. I looked at all of them at the hardware store. The 3M blue tape was way too expensive. This one was alot cheaper and it said on the packaging 'leaves clean and straight lines'.

Very nice and clean, get some green LED fans and some green cathodes and youll be set. Also, just a thought but you could put some green stripes on the front bezels.

I was thinking more of putting White cathodes in to really show off the green case and the sexy DFI motherboard. If I had Green Cathodes It would all just look green. Opinions are welcome. Its either, Green Cathodes and Green Led Fans OR UV cathodes and green UV fans OR white cathodes and standard black fans.

I vote a couple of white no green because you don't want 1 color to stand out 2 much.

UPDATE : window
Drilled each corner to have the curves done. Proceeded to jig saw cut the panel.

Success! cut without too much drama.

Cheap window molding from Hardware Store. Does the job.

Window will be done on monday. The perspex at the hardware store was WAY too expensive.

Looks great, but like technodanvan said, you need some green on that cpu fan. Like a green grille, that would look nice.
Looks nice, esp with the white cathodes.
I do have to ask though, where the heck did you find a new Ultra-B???

Paint the heatsink? That would probably reduce its efficiency.
