Was thinking of getting the new sidepanel with a 25cm fan mounted, found a really cheap place in Sweden. I've been looking all over for the specs on the fan, the depth etc, since I have a Scythe Ninja, my margin isn't that big, and I'm afraid the fan will hit the ninja.

im thinking about getting one for my armor too... but i dont know if temps will improve with this sidepanel

well, ive read they do improve, but by a marginal aspect, idk if its worth the $$

I wanted to know...for all the Air cooling freaks here in tha forum...if you put...lets say 80cfm thru the intake fan, you should exhaust 80?

In this case...that HUGE fan...has XXcfm...wouldnt that make bad turbulence...as there is no HUGE exhaust fan?

I hope i made a point there...its pretty hard to explain somethiing like that in a foreing lenguage tongue.gif

THanx guys

it may be a large fan but i dont think it's pushing that much cfm, i should be running at a lower rpm. But what it is doing is covering a larger area.....which it may or may not mean nothing when all said and done!!!

I just got my case the other day. I ordered a side panel to go with it. I haven't put it together yet as my power supply won't fit in the case, so I don't know if it results in much cooler temps.

According to the box it comes in, the fan pushes 67.69 cfm. I did plug the fan into a connector and found that a majority of the air is pushed out to the sides of the fan and not directly out.

I'm a tempfreak, so spending 30 bucks on that panel just for 1-2 degrees is well worth it for me, and besides, that's one bigass fan ohmy.gif

Hmm, IMO the exhaust has to be higher than the intake... and to that in mind you have to take the exhaust fan(s) in the back side as well as the posible one on top of the case, and the power supplies' one(s) too. With this in mind it is very possible not even a huge fan like this one on the side panel would make much diference.

It also depends where the big fan is, like on top of video cards or on top of big mobo's heatsinks (PWMCIA)... I doubt any type of turbulence would make any drastic changes, on the contrary.

If all fails, install a high output fan on the back of the case, and everything will be fixed tongue.gif
