i am interesting in giving my desktop a colour theme and was wondering if there is any good tutorials on the procedure in painting a mouse and keyboard? i have a pretty good idea on how to do it i just need to know wat kinda of paint to use. i am worried that it will wear off considering it will be handled quite a bit.

I'd use oil-based enamel. It adheres very well to plastic, you only need one coat, if you thin it enough it flows easily, and it's very durable.

If you want more durability, do a couple color coats, and then do 2 or 3 clear coats. If you get runs, you can wet sand. Enamels have to cure for a while before wetsanding (2+ weeks), but tend to be a lot more resilient against wear.

Different primers are used for different materials, so make sure you find one that's compatible. The clear coat should be the same kind of paint (you don't want to use a laquer clearcoat on top of a enamel color coat)
