Hope this is the right place...

Just got the case (and waiting for the motherboard to come in) but what I did notice in the book is there is a chance that the motherboard ports on the back will not match the case...

HELP!!! What do you do then? Do I have to get a different board, ports, case...???

Basically it's the Antec P180 with DFI NF4 SLI Infinity and just based on pictures I don't see a good match

and per Antec...

3. How do I know that the back of Antec's cases will be compatible with the motherboard I plan to use?
All Antec ATX cases feature interchangeable I/O panels, which gives you flexibility for use with a wide variety of ATX motherboards. If the I/O panel we provide does not work with your motherboard please contact your motherboard manufacturer for the correct I/O panel for their motherboard.

How do I go about doing this (if necessary)
CPDMF
It's not necessary. The I/O sheild comes with the board.

dont worry at all, ull be fine. as cpdmf saif, the i/o will come with ur motherboard. ur mobo will fit perfectly, its a great case.

The I/O panel will pop out of the opening in the rear of the case by pushing on it towards the case interior. You then replace it with the DFI-supplied panel, which will just press-fit into the opening.

(Just in case you need more explanation...)

First, Welcome to the Street!

Even if premature, PLEASE make a sig. of what your new system will be.

You may face another issue with that case, though.
It requires a PSU with long cables, as the PSU is fitted in the base - not the top of the case.

Depending on your system plans, you may also need a robust power supple to avoid problems.

Without that sig. we are limited to how much help we can give you - and any moderator here can give you a "vacation" form the forum for not doing so ... just when you may need it most! smile.gif
