Bought some lapping materials for my water blocks
Grits: 400 600 800 1000 1200 1500 2000
Industrial quality wet/dry sandpapers with silicon carbide abrasive grit. Silicon Carbide has block-looking crystalline structure, as it wears, new edges are exposed for a longer lifetime and consistent cut.
Polishing Compound A gel-liked final polishing compound, equivalent to 10,000 grit. Each package contains roughly 5 grams of gel, but a little last a long time. Water soluable mechanical cut, can also be used as a lubricant during 2000grit lapping.
Anyone know of a real good lapping guide?
