Well I just got done painting my bezel with the color coat and it went on perfect but after one of the earlier coats I had several drips on one side from one bad nozel pass, I then wetsanded them with 600 grit sand paper and on the final coat which is perfect with no new drips but I can still see little bumps where the old drips were. My question is will I be able to wetsand these out of the final coat on my final wetsand or will they always be there? Its gloss black so any imperfection stand out like a soar thumb. I would think I could just wetsand if flat and buff with rubbing compound. I just dont want to recoat with the spray cans and risk the almost inevitable paint drip. Thanks, Dan

you know its kind of up in the air to be honest, it depends on a few things, first being how much you let the paint tack between coats, humidity (dont laugh its true). you really should have made 100% sure the drips were gone before you moved on to the next coat (wetsand/buff the area with rubbing compound, still their sand more, repeat till satisfied). but its worth a shot now, only problem is that as you wet sand the area of the bump then it will go down a layer or 2 below the actual finish layer, which is where the first 2 *maybe* come into play
