Well if you can find it over there, I can guarantee "Novus 1-2-3" is the sheet you need.
#3 does heavy scratches
#2 does light ones and
#1 is antifog, Antistatic, dust repellent and cleaner.
Nothing works as good, absolutely nothing.
You can usually find on eBay by searching "Novus"

They got woman's finger nails files that Polish finger nails that work like no one can imagine. there white two sided. one side has mild and the other fine named phase 1 & phase 2. there a buck and it will turn plexie glass better then new. There called Miracle shine. They work grate when your working with plexie glass and wont the cut edge transparent like polished glass.you can take these things and rub out a scratch in a black paint job and never have to buff it

I've sold a lot of consumer electronics in my day and "Novus" was really about the ONLY thing I found that not only worked but was impossible to damage the plexi with if pressing too hard.
While I am sure msmolt has a fine solution and others will post as well.
Here's the schiznit

I had the same problem a while back and after searching all over the net I was also reccommended to try the Novus III system. So I ordered a complete kit from them and gave it a whirl. The results were it did hardly anything but put a ton of very fine scratches in the glass and not take out the bad ones. My advice would be to go to home depot and by a sheet of plexi glass and cut a new one. Just make sure you cut before you remove there protictive plastic to make sure you dont scratch it. Its cheap enough and no one will see the rough edges since they overlap the inside of the door. I also got some samples free with the novus but Im telling you it dont work and for sure wont get out bad scratches. Thanks, Dan:)

I just finished cleaning and polishing two PC windows with Novus System III.
My son's was pretty scratched and funky.
He asked me if I put a new window in.
This stuff is great!

The nail polish thing didnt work for me I tried it on a test piece and it just made things worse what seems to work best because I am fairly certian most case windows arent plexi-glass, is CD Scratch Remover...Maxwell or who ever makes a kit with some liquid stuff to remove scratches off of CDs it works very well....also...if you cant get the scratches out go up to Home Depot or Lowes, or local hardware store and buy some Lexan or plastic Acrylic....its fairly cheap and easy to drill, make sure they cut it though....

You're kinda screwed with scratches in a grained metal surface. Like someone else already stated, you have to sand it and re-grain it then of course you have bare metal which would require re-anodizing or painting.

I 2nd this, Novus is THE STUFF to use when getting rid of scratches in acrylic. Personally I only use #2. I use sand paper of varying grits to get rid of anything major and then Novus 2 to finish it all off. I haven't tried #1 because #2 gives me acceptable results. Though I may have to just try it out and see what the results are.
And by acceptable results I mean I can't even see a hairline scratch, even if I hold it at an angle to a bright light. Heck I can't see a dang thing even with it edge lit by an LED. All thats there is my etch

If you are left with tons of scratches then you are using the wrong type of cloth to wipe it off, either that or you are using the same cloth for all the different steps.

Do you have any large hardware stores near you? You might want to check one out and see if you can get a piece of plastic that will fit....
Also, can you remove the side panel window?

i actually cut the side panel myself, and i used glue, so i can probably remove the perspex...
i will acually have to replace it sometime since when installing a fan i made a crack in it....

Same thing that happened to me. I even tried tooth paste. It can be very frustrating. Maybe you could contact the case manufacturer and see if they could send you a new glass window. Its hard to use an abrasive on glass since unlike paint you have to see through it and all the small scratches can be unacceptable. Good luck, Dan

I'm in Kenosha.
I probably have enough Novus to do 100 windows
If you are nearby let me know and I'll show you what a miracle worker this stuff is.

Out of curiosity what type of fabric did you use with the Novus?

If I remember right just a old t-shirt or dish towel. I did it last winter.

That may have been the problem. You need to make sure that the fabric you are using is clean and free of any particulates that may get ground into the acrylic.

I'm hooked in "Viva" paper towels for cleaning and polishing.
very soft, low lint and pretty strong.
I use them for cleaning monitors too.
