Psywar
the only thing I woudl change is.. if ur doing water cooling go with all dangerden parts..
jpiccolo
why would you say that?
wenis
because dangerden or d-tek setups are better of course blink.gif

EDIT: and get a different case tongue.gif
Psywar
well first off. when you buy a kit, you will get all the same size fittings.. so you wont have to screw with adapters.. you know that it will flow very nice together.. you know your pump will be strong enough to push the water though ur system with all the things that are connected to it..

and I am pretty positive you will get better performance (be colder)
jpiccolo
well i am going to take on the challenge of making my own cooling kit, an making as much stuff as i can, using the best bang for the buck items. whats the fun in buying a kit and just slapping it in a case, very unmodders talking there. blink.gif

I'd change the rad if I were you. I have it and its not fun (well it is but its more work) trying to fit it in yer case.

I would switch your Danger Den Block for a Swiftech and you Swiftech Rad for a Danger Den Rad. laugh.gif

I like the fact that you're gonna get a different kind of pump. You'll probably have to find a couble fittings and some teflon for it through. Most of those are 1/2" ID instead of 1/2" OD and that one doesn't look like an exception.
Its good that its 12V but I would rather hack open the PSU and hook up a relay than drain wattage from it.
jpiccolo
this is what i am going to go with now:

Swiftech MCW5002-A
----one of the best water blocks
ViaAqua 4900 pump
-----1321 GPH, MH 14 ft (will move some serious water)
and a Heater Core from a car (dont know the size yet)
-----alot cheaper and can be custom fit to what i want.

the fittings dont really bother me, i will be kinda going off this mod

bishop245
86 chevette heater core from what i understand works great
jpiccolo

its a great tool!!!
wanksta
that is beastly
TypicalSloan
thats a sweet project, but psu's put out heat even though its only a little, i still wouldnt want my radiator above the psu.
jpiccolo
i am not going to have my rad above my psu. I plan on doing a sealed intake and exhaust system, so my case wont be getting excess heat.
