Hey yeall. I just got around to taking some pics of my case. About a month ago i decided to sleeve my power cables and organize things a bit, and now that i got my motherboard back i decided to take some new pics and post em here.

What do you guys think? Do ya think i organized my cables well enough? Please leave any opinions you have. I want to hear em.

Heres what the old way looked like

definately a lot better. I like the wrap. Have you seen my mess b4 and after. I have a mid-tower so not so much room as yours.

I'd sleeve the still loose wires with something small and chrome.
Chrome looks good biggrin.gif

Nice - I did the same thing (used duct tape as the sleeving) and I thought I might mention that your ram is in BANK 0 SLOT 0 and in BANK 1 SLOT 0 - if you want to run Dual-channel put the other stick (asuming they have the same timings or you are willing to overclock/underclock) (the one in BANK 0) into BANK 1 SLOT 1

Kevin, if you look again youll notice i have 2 of the same type of ram in slots 1 and 3 and a different type in slot 2. I didnt think it would work, but the bios is telling me its in dual channel mode, so ill believe it.

kobalt. Small and chrome huh? What do you suggest, i wanted to sleeve the small wires but havent had the time lately. What do you think i should use that looks chromish for the smaller wires?

populating all 3 dimms on nf2 boards runs them in dual mode. slots 1 and 2 only populated runs it in single 1-3 or 2-3 runs daul channel

All I do is hide most of the cables behind the motherboard tray and right side panel.

Very nicely done gentlemen! tongue.gif
FxXP, I see you got a controller for that Tornado, how does it perform at varying speeds?
FxXP
Runs like a charm, can control it between 2600 - 5900 RPM. I run it 3700 RPM and it keeps the CPU load @ 45C. Up'ing to a V11 soon then I'll slap the Tornado on that. (I think we should PM before we ruin the topic).

not bad. i still say it could be a bit neater. tucking the wires behind your racks would look better. =) but huge improvement from before. did you see a temperature drop?

Nothing to major. Probably about two or three degrees blink.gif
AYoKoNA
