sorry i kno this is probly the wrong section but I couldn't figure out where to put this thread.
So I've heard that the Seasonic S12 has alot of issues with the DFI NF4 boards. Is that true? cause I'm tryin to find a good quiet PSU and im thinkin the S12 is the best but it obviously isnt if it wont work with my baord

Go with a Powerstream 520ADJ (from what I've heard the 600W is louder). I cannot hear mine at all. I literally have to sit with my ear to the fan to hear it. If that's not silent enough for you, then I guess roll the dice with the S12. I've also heard about the issues, but I'm not sure if there really is a problem or if some unlucky users just got some dicey PSU's.

Perhaps someone with more experience on the issue will comment.

600W S12 purchased September last year, nothing to report but quiet performance smile.gif

No problem to report with the 600w (rev. A2) version and the Ultra-D. But I've been running the system for less than a month, though.

until I killed my S12 600 (don't even know how I did it) it was fine

I was running VX and wanted the adjustable rails so then I bought an OCZ 520ADJ.......
