Good question... I have no idea tongue.gif

I asume you checked the motherboard compatibility list at OCZ's site and your mobo wasn't mentioned... I believe someone will reply here with the information, however you could go to OCZ's official forum and post the same question:

I do not see why not.

EDIT: i allready had an answer at the bleedinedge and i solved my problem.....buying an ocz psu 420w

Hehe, damn... it always ends up with people buying a more powerfull power supply, right now I am at the same spot over here wink.gif

But because the Enermax Noisetaker 600w failed or is not enough to power my system... which one could??? Would an OCZ PS 600w do the job, or should i invest (err, I mean waste lol) $485 dlls in a PC Power & Cooling 850? Once you have power problems you start to doubt every power source sad.gif

i just need the extra vdimm.....

i am not very good with the soldering iron biggrin.gif

and the idea of trashing a good psu trying to vmod it....ouch

a local dealer has a good deal with these ocz powerstream psus.....72€ for a 420w and 150€ for a 600w

i also found a pair of ocz 3200 bh6 2x512....hehe....running default for months....and also got a nice price

so tomorrow....superpi will be the king
Sorrento
hehe, good luck... I would suggest to go nuts on the overclock regardless of how stable the system is... then try SuperPi 4m to see if its stable enough for 1M, then do the 1M and if things in Portugal are like over here where I live, shove the result to your P4 friends face... lol :shake:

There are two types of overclock: 24/7 and Nuts :tooth:

this rig is only for crazy stuff
i have the prometeia standing there and a at least once a month i like to do a bench session with some real close friends....everybody contributes with some hardware...and we go crazy.....hours of fun

my laptop is for now my main rig....the sempron is folding and after tomorrow with some proper memory and a ocz psu i can bench when i feel like....
maybe a 6800 ultra in a few weeks biggrin.gif

as for the intel stuff....well ....around here a lot of amd fanboys and ppl who see that amd is the way.....

maybe conroe will change that....or not...rotfl
Sorrento
LOL, indeed

Here everybody use AMD for obvious reasons, but there are those two or three Intel fanboys who will say anything to start an argument; haha similar to Mac users rolleyes.gif

The Presler PIV is very nice, nothing to do with those really bad Pentium D 800's... but the thing probably overheats like hell itself; two of these people I know have one each, and misteriously they have problem posting a higher than 4.2 ghz overclock... I wonder why :shake:

Good luck with that machine of yours smile.gif

To answer your question, yes the booster will work with the 250Gb.

BUT - I seriously doubt that you can use it with more than one stick of ram due to space considerations! I have one, and it works great with a modded bios and 1x512.

The problem lies with the "pot" used to adjust the voltage. It hangs towards the "inside" of the ram slots, so if you put it in Slot3, it overhangs over Slot2. If you try and put it in Slot2, it'll cant the whole booster pcb over far enough to block Slot3!

They also generate some heat, but nothing that can't be cured with a fan...

my brand new powerstream 420w just arrived 40 mnts ago....
i will pick up the memory in a couple of hours

that was the answer i got from steve ocz.....lack of space
so i went for the psu instead
