Why don't you go read the links we provided.

If your chipset is one of those listed, then the patch MIGHT work for you.

If not, then it won't ... smile.gif

To try to answer your question, it's the NF4 chipset on the motherboard that determines whether the patch might work or not ... that and you must have two x16 PCIe slots on the motherboard. I think, and you can check some of the old reviews of that motherboard, most of the NF4 chipsets had the SLI component in them. I just don't remember which ones they were.

If you have both, then try the patch ... but back up your critical data first. I would copy the OS to a logical drive in an extended partition and hide it so XP won't think you have a dual-boot OS configuration.

Then I would try the patch.

i think he means, unplugging the hdd, and if my files would get corrupt, use the hdd i backed up my xp too
