It's a nice looking system. You've got some pretty hot hardware in there which costs quite a bit of money. My question is how can anyone justify spending that kind of money on hardware that will be superseded my something better in a matter of a couple of months? No matter how hard I try and convince myself I can't get myself to do it.

(This isn't to take away from what you've done, I'd just like to know peoples feeling on this).

If you lived in the USA you would understand this phrase: Tax write off

It's well for some! Hey, we pay tax here too believe it or not, it's not an American invention! If I could just find a way to do likewise!

Writing off means you lower the taxes you owe because the computer equipment is a business expense are your taxable income is calculated after expenses including the computer equipment. There are also increased depreciation (50 % the first year) which means you get to write off half of the total cost the first year then 10 % each following year until you depreciated it all.

I am not writing off the paintjob of course.

looks awesome, but then I haveta remember one thing....i look at the MONITOR more than the hardware. tongue.gif

though i did make my comp look somewhat neato (pic in sig) i was able to put that xtra dough into a Subaru WRX! xxxplozionw00tbanana!

i guess i just can't ever spend more than $1200 on a comp. I keep mine for 2-3 yrs also. im tired of playing catch-up all the time; by the time the sys is built, somethin new is there. (Example: your comp COULD have the Venus board).

sorry i sound like a jerk. i definitely give it 10 out of 10, im jus more of a price/performance ratio guy I guess.

Yep, there are connectors on them, just like any other typical SLI setup.
