I'm going to ask a very very dumb question tongue.gif. What's a case speaker and what's it do? I've seen it in a few cases while i was looking for a case.

Thats what gives off those annoying beeps that you hear when you do something wrong. biggrin.gif

... my case doesn't have one.... My beeps come from my surround sound..... If i don't have her running, my comp is dead scilent (except for the psu which blows hot air on top of my cpu instead of taking it away lol)

if you know the anoying beep codes for you motherboard/brand of motherboard, it makes it easy to diagnose what the problems might be, like if you get no video there is a "post" or a beep sequence that tells you that your vid card isnt working! very good for diagnosing problems, but you dont need one i never hook mine up!

actually... i'd like to have that... then i'd know that i would be safe. I have a cheaply made Gateway 500mhz... FOR GODSAKES they could have included a FAN for the heatsink.... I guess they were too poor (my computer was the best thing out on the market when i bought it too).

yup, i know what ya mean. in this computer its got 4 fans inside it and the themp is still 60c.........its insane
