Never did figure out what to do with that on my son's system when I built it. Just coiled it up and tucked it away.

@uplink ... hows the OCZ powerstream fits inside ur case ? Im planning to get another rig for my gf using about the same config as mine but with ocz powerstream instead. If u noticed .... the power supplies slides sideways inside armor .. does it block any of the air intake or the fans from the ocz powerstream ?

As I recall, it took me a little bit of effort to fit an OCZ Powerstream 520 in it. Does fit fine though and there are no problems with the fans moving air.

it was a nightmare to fit in thier lol but it does fit you havta take the top pannel USBs out then its alot easyer, also you cant use the top mount fan in my case its to big some might be able to if the 550w version is shorter, as for blocking the fans no the airflow is just fine

I was wondering where to plug the alarm cord into and then I started to wonder why it is even there. You can lock the door or put the thumb screws in.
And for the stock heatsink, this case has so much air flow, I have no reason to up grade mine yet.
This case is twice as quiet as my last solid case. I thought about a fan controller, but then again I don't sleep with mine.

As ExRoadie already stated, there isn't a place on the mobo to put it.
You can easily unclip it from the side of the case if you tinker with it for a few seconds. You can do the same for the speaker cable that's under the hdd bay as well.
I also had to remove the top panel USB cluster and top mount fan in order to get my PSU in. I was able to put the USB cluster back where it belongs but I wish I could say the same about the fan. Oh well.
As for hiding wires, I'd suggest taking the other side of your case off (the side w/o a window) and routing as many wires behind that as you can.
Yea, yea, yea...I'm using the stock cpu heatsink. From what I've read, that thing actually performs just as well as several well made aftermarket heatsinks. Plus I have no need to waste the money on another one until I OC it.

I just cut the alarm wire. You could use the lock I guess? Also I ran my wires down the left and right side of the bay housing. Installed a 120mm side fan, reduced temps 4c on cpu, chipset, PWMIC, but a little bit noiser.

I am using a modified armor, and with the DFI motherboard, i just removed that alarm. My previous gigabyte nforce3 board had a connection for it but no luck on the dfi, just one less group of cables for me to worry about hiding. I also removed the speaker and def agree about running everything you can behind the motherboard tray or so. I am not quite to the point of modding my psu wires, but they are going behind as well. Definitely a great case for room, and for airflo. Has anyone seen the optional side panel with built in 25cm fan? If so, do you know where you can get it?

I had to cut out a strip of metal on my armor and I cut a hole in the side ( plexi ) and put a 120 mm there. I bought the hdd expansion bay the matches the two colored fans the switched the back with the side. It looks nice. ;P try it.

The side panal w/fan is not on the street yet (I e-mailed them, 2-3 weeks and they will ship them out.) You can also get another HDD bay w/fan from xoxide.com( or you could mount two 120mm fans together with 4x6" copper tubing and slide it into the 3 bottom bay ( not counting the tray ) that will blow right at the chipset and v-card.

I have a Kandalf with my Intel rig in it. The larger PSU's are a bitt of a struggle, but will fit. As stated above, you may have to sacrifice the top 92mm fan. Currently running a Sintek 500W, and the voltage controlknobs interfered with the top fan. I just removed the switch and wire for the intrusion alarm, since I wouldn't use it even if my mobo supported it. Great case!

Do you see that 3" wide space between the mobo and drive bays, and do you see the extra threaded holes for the mobo mounts? just screw on some mobo stand-offs in the extra holes, then screw cable clamps on top of that. Now you will be able to run/clamp your wires along the 3" space.

So a Black Ice Xtreme II fits in the 5"25 bays? And what do you use to secure it, I really wanna know since that is the perfect place to put it, even better if you can the make the airflow go "backwards" from the back to the front.

I made some Aluminum angle brackets and slotted them so i could move the rad around some. It seem to be the quickest and easy way to do it.
Uplink: I just used a Dremel Tool with a small cutting wheel. I am using the 24" IDE cables. Caster wheels was the first thing I did to my armor.

I really don't like side intake fans as they seemed to interfere with airflow and create alot of dust build up on components. But that side window does look good i give it that.
