How well can you see the UV glow in a well lit room? (I've never had anything UV so I woudln't know).

I was thinking of getting some UV stuff and also getting some regular lighting stuff. How do you all think this would work out? or should I just go with one or the other?

Well its your preference..if you like alot of eye candy and bling heh go with the UV..you cant tell in a well light room but at night > Whoa watch out! blink.gif

Why is UV more "eye candy" than cathodes?

What if I did a little of both? How do you think that woudl look?

Also, what does everyone think about the UV spray? Is that safe to spray on just about anything?

Well CCFL is nice and UV is nice..its just your preference
As for UV spray, I wouldnt advice unless your were to spray that on your case panels or inside the case may be cool( just do this before you install any hardware in the case) with a cool design of your choice smile.gif

I see. If I were to take the UV approach (seems as though there are more UV products out there since you can have UV rounded cables and such), what can I do to a fan that I don't want to change? For example, I have a Tt Volcano 9 as my heatsink and I dont' really want to change it, what can I add to this heatsink/fan to make it UV?

I was thinking of maybe getting the spray to spray on the metal cover of the heatsink/fan. What if I used this same spray on the actual fanblades? or is there a better solution for the fanblades? Also, how do I determine what kind of glow the UV stuff has? does it depend on the natural color of the UV tube? (Say I wanted a mix of Red/Blue in the case)

I wouldnt spray anything on the heatsink/fan

It would be fine if i sprayed on the cage though right?

also, what are GOOD 80mm UV fans?

I wouldnt spray on a heatsink or fan b/c that may augment the cooling efficiency or the speed of the fansbut Im not sure. If you want to add alittle bling or eye candy to your case just add a CCFL, a colored fan here and there or maybe paint your case? Or maybe you can use a stencil and just use the UV paint and spray a nice design with a stencil on you case panel?

It would be fine to paint the finger guard.
